NEW MODEL STAUN TYRE DEFLATORS

Staun Products, the Australian company that brought the world their unique tyre deflators have released two new versions of these must have 4WD accessories.

While the original deflators have enjoyed enormous success around the globe, the management of Staun Products received a lot of enquiries regarding the availability of a set of tyre deflators for use in more specialised driving.

Sales and Marketing Director, Mr Lee David said “We received a lot of requests from people who were very happy with their Staun Tyre Deflators but had needs that were a little more intricate than our original tyre deflators could provide. Armed with this feedback and a growing demand for a new range our research and development team went to work and produced the Staun Heavy Duty and Light Duty tyre deflators.”

The Staun Light Duty Tyre Deflator has been designed for those who require lower pressure ranges, up to 10psi, with extreme accuracy and is suitable for competitive Rock Crawlers and Dune Buggies who deflate to as low as 4-5psi with bead locks. The Light Duty deflators come preset at 7psi and have an adjustment of 2psi per half turn and 4psi per full turn of the adjustment cap. They also only require 2psi above the preset pressure to start automatically, but can be manually started by lifting the pin as little as 1psi above the preset pressure.

The Staun Heavy Duty Tyre Deflator has been designed to suit most 4WD deflation needs and is suitable for the light to heavy trucking industry, it is also suitable for agricultural and farming equipment and beach or bush pressures. With a pressure range of 15-55psi, they come preset at 35psi and are accurate to within 0.25psi. The deflators have an adjustment of 4psi per half turn and 8 psi per full turn of the adjustment cap. Requiring 7psi above its preset pressure to start automatically, they can be started manually by lifting the pin at as little as 2psi above its preset pressure.
