LEGENDARY DRIVER ENDORSES AVON TYRES

Well-respected motorsport competitor, Colin Bond, has endorsed the new Avon high performance road tyres released in Australia for sports, luxury and family sedans.

It's a case of one legend praising another. Avon are back on the market here with a range of UK-made tyres suitable for a huge range of makes and models.

Avon's forte has long been as an original equipment supplier to Rolls Royce, Bentley and other luxury marques. The ability of their tyre technicians to produce a high performance tyre with a soft ride, has made them one of Europe's most popular and respected tyre brands.

Bond has joined with the Australian importer, Exclusive Tyre Distributors, to promote Avon through a network of selected tyre outlets in all States. Now supposedly retired from motor racing, Bond is still involved in the sport as the driving judge for the V8 Supercar series.

Bond competed recently in the Targa Tasmania rally with retired Formula One commentator, Murray Walker, navigating for him. They performed exceptionally well, driving an Australian-built Toyota Camry V6 prepared by Team Toyota Racing's Neal Bates in Canberra. Being English, Walker has had a strong connection with Avon Tyres through their 50-year involvement in motor sport.
